I find that most folks I have worked with have some really good questions for me before and after the session. Questions are great and please do not ever hesitate to ask more if your questions aren't covered in the list below.
DO YOU ONLY PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS?
No, I do photograph other events too. Besides wedding and engagement shoots, I am available to photograph other events such as bridal showers, bar-mitzvah parties, first birthday parties, etc. If there are people, I am happy to capture moments!
HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION WITH YOU?
Please fill out the details in the CONTACT page or you could just email or call me directly. I typically respond within 24 hours.
HOW DO I GET MY IMAGES?
You will receive the images on a password protected online gallery, which you can share with family and friends. A download code will be included in the link sent to you.
CAN I ORDER PRINTS OF MY IMAGES FROM YOU?
Absolutely, prints and other photo products can be purchased separately. Please feel free to contact me for the price-list. I work with a high-quality printing professional who will make sure that each photograph is printed true to its color. Please note that there is absolutely no obligation to purchase prints from me.
WHAT ABOUT AN ALBUM?
Yes, again. I offer high-quality albums and each page of the album is thick photo-paper quality. I design the layout of the album as a means of professionally preserving your images for you and your family for years to come. I also offer wedding packages that include albums. DO YOU EDIT THE IMAGES?
After your photo-session with me, I spend hours selecting the best images and editing each image to bring out the unique elements in the image that tells your story. My editing process is authentic as I edit the images myself and do not outsource it.
TO WHAT EXTENT DO YOU EDIT?
Before the session, I will ask you how much you would like your final images touched up. I am happy to remove impermanent blemishes and smoothen out a few wrinkles here and there as long as the image retains its natural quality and you still look like you. However, I do not slim you down or photoshop in things that were not there. So no celebrity photoshopped in as a wedding guest and no flying babies or anything of that sort :p
HOW SOON WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
As mentioned, I spend a lot of time editing your images. Having said it, I know how excited you would be to see the images. So I try to work as fast as possible on them, depending on what my schedule is like around that time. Typically, for most other events and family sessions - the turnaround time is 1-2 weeks. For weddings, it is 5-8 weeks, depending on the duration of the wedding and ground covered. If you need it sooner, please let me know and we can discuss the same.
WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT TO THE IMAGES?
Rojita Abujam Photography (RAP) owns the copyright to all the photographs. I use these images primarily to promote my business and will never sell them to others. Please note that I will always protect your images and will never use them inappropriately. Exceptions may be made if it is intended for corporate use.
You can use the images in any way you would like; however, if they are to be published in print or uploaded on any social media websites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, your own website, Tumblr, etc), RAP must be credited through a weblink to my website www.rojitaabujam.com or a direct link to my Facebook Page. As you can imagine, the Internet is a place where image theft is common, so please respect this request as it helps protect the images. If you have any Qs regarding this, please do not hesitate to ask.
CAN YOU BRING A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER? WHAT ABOUT VIDEOGRAPHY?
Absolutely! Depending on the event and your needs, I could bring a second photographer who is very talented and personable. As for videography, I do not provide that but I collaborate with serval videographers. Based on your budget and stylistic requirements, I can arrange for one that will suit your needs.
WILL YOU TRAVEL FOR A SHOOT?
Absolutely! I'm based out of Boulder, but am happy to travel wherever you want me to. Travel charges will apply, but am happy to discount the photography rates if it's a destination that involves mountains, beaches, lakes, or sunbeams!
