My husband and I got married last month in Central park. Rojita did a great job at capturing the beauty of the setting and the magic of the moment. All the pictures she took were exactly the kind of candid pictures I was dreaming about; touching, spontaneous and simple. The kind of pictures that would make you relive the moment forever!

The entire experience was fantastic! 
My fiancé and I had been planning for some time to do a mid-fall shoot in Central Park in an effort to capture the brilliant fall foliage. After reviewing Rojita's portfolio (in particular, an Indian wedding that she'd captured beautifully), we were inspired by her work and confident that she would understand our vision. We were absolutely correct with this assumption! Our photos were edited and made available to us quickly and we had so many from which to choose. The colors are magnificent with an impressive variety; we honestly could not be happier. Rojita herself was such a pleasure! She was highly energetic, upbeat, and most importantly made us feel very comfortable. It was obvious that she loves her work and puts a lot of effort into getting the right Thank you Rojita!

We hired Rojita to take photos of our little one's first birthday. She captured some beautiful moments of that day which we will cherish forever. She is more like a friend at the party who is taking photos and really mixes well with the crowd. she LOVES children which is evident by the photos she takes of them. I believe her warmth and technical ability as a photographer allows her to get some splendid shots. I shared her pics with my family and friends and everyone loved them. We hired Rojita to take pre-event photos of our Twin Boys Bar Mitzvah, and we are so glad we did. She communicated with us well through e-mail and then provided a full consultation over the phone before we hired her. The day of the event she arrived early and was very patient with us when we ran a bit later in the day then expected. She was absolutely wonderful. There is a playfulness in her style. My overall experience with Rojita was so great, that I am truly having a difficult time finding the adjectives to try to summarize her my experience as well as the quality of work. I had hired her for my son's 1st birthday and what really would be her strongest suite is her patience and sociability with the crowd (ESPECIALLY CHILDREN!) Here are some additional details -
* Booking Experience - Extremely responsive. Responded to my questions, suggestions and requests within hours of my posts or emails. Never sounded very salesy during the entire process and made it very clear that while she is not a clock watcher, client should exercise a reasonable threshold as well. I never negotiated the price because I had seen the quality of her past work and the price was in line with my expectations as well.
* Quality of work - The pictures came out unbelievable. Every moment of my child's surprise at seeing his other friends, his responses to the program, interactions with the parents, grandparents, interactions of other parents with their children, solo moments of every child etc. was beautifully captured. Even though I had the request of no flash photography, she used the outside light and the right lenses immaculately!
* Social skills - She never felt like she was a photographer at my son's party. She felt like one of the friends and family. Helping out whenever she was even taking a break, making conversations with parents and never refusing requests from anyone asking for pictures of their own family even as she was going around the hall capturing moments of the birthday. She was especially very social and approachable to the grand parents and uncles and aunts and kept them at extreme ease with smiles captured at perfect moments.
To summarize, I would rehire her in a heartbeat for any important events in my family's life and I am so glad I was able to find her on Thumbtack for a such a special occasion. Thanks Rojita!!

I was looking for a photographer for an outdoor pre-birthday photo shoot for my daughter. Rojita gave us a very good package for 2 hours shoot. The shooting took place in Brooklyn bridge park. She was very friendly and prompt in her work. She was well prepared and had a plan how to organize the shoot. My daughter also enjoyed a lot with her. She gave me back the photos within 2 days as I explained her my urgency of them. Overall, it was an excellent experience working with her. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.
